Privacy

Last updated October 31, 2026.

We don't have accounts. The only personal data we collect is the email address you give us if you sign up for the daily email. The search box runs in your browser; what you type is not sent to us.

Hosting logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (such as IP address and browser type) to deliver pages and stop abuse.

Ads

We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can turn off personalized ads at Google Ad Settings. Learn more about how Google uses data from partner sites.

Affiliate links

Links to Amazon carry our Associate tag. If you click one, Amazon may set a cookie to credit the referral. Amazon's own privacy notice applies on its site.

The daily email

If you sign up, we store your email address, the date, and the page you signed up from. We use it only to send the daily “Who Makes It” email. We don't sell or share it.

Emails are sent through Emailit, which processes your address on our behalf and may record opens and clicks. Our list is stored on Cloudflare.

Every email has an unsubscribe link that works at once. To have your address deleted entirely, email hello@whoreallymakesit.com.
